Summary:PURPOSE: A current detecting system of a digital information display is provided to reduce stand-by power through blocking and supplying of power by grasping operating state of an external device. CONSTITUTION: A current detecting system of a digital information display comprises a power distributor(110), an external device(120), a current detector(130), and a controller(140). The power distributor comprises a plurality of power discharging units. The current detector detects current according to the power provided to the external device when the plurality of power discharging units is connected to the external device. The controller determines normal conditions of the external device by comparing a current value detected in the current detector with a unique current value of the external device.
