PURPOSE: A complex damper of plural viscous dampers and hysteretic dampers arranged in parallel in a transverse direction is provided to reduce the vibration generating vertical displacement generated between both side structures. CONSTITUTION: A complex damper comprises viscous dampers, hysteretic dampers, and a supporter(4). The viscous damper is arranged between both facing structures in a vertical direction and generates damping force by the vertical directional displacement of the gap between two structures. One side of a transverse direction of the hysteretic damper is assembled and installed in the side portion of the viscous damper. The hysteretic dampers generate damping force by the vertical directional displacement of the gap in a slit(31). The supporting bar(41) of the supporter is extended in a longitudinal direction in a line with a transverse direction.
