Summary:PURPOSE: An information input apparatus based on events and a method thereof are provided to generate a left/right click event and to prevent input unintended by a user by calculating coordinate displacement according to the motion of a hand. CONSTITUTION: An inertia sensor(10) senses the rolling of a wrist and motion of a hand. An event determiner(20) determines an event through the rolling of the wrist. A coordinate calculator(30) calculates moving displacement toward the motion of the hand. A controller(40) transmits a coordinate for a control command and the moving displacement. The inertia sensor measures a tilt, an acceleration and an angular velocity.
