Summary:PURPOSE: ECM(Electret Condenser Microphone) digital microphone temperature compensation is provided to partially compensate the temperature sensitivity of a digital microphone system by using a temperature compensation circuit. CONSTITUTION: A digital microphone system(100) includes a temperature compensation circuit(200), a microphone(101), a pre-amplifier(102), and an analog-to-digital converter(103). The microphone includes a microphone having a temperature sensitive membrane, such as an electret membrane or other temperature sensitive membrane. The microphone includes an ECM, or one or more other digital microphones having a non-zero temperature coefficient. The pre-amplifier includes an audio amplifier or one or more other amplifiers configured to receive information from the microphone.
