Said method comprises the steps of coupling the cleaning head to the base unit; reading data in a memory (126) of the base unit; configuring a control console (66) based on recognition that the base unit is attached thereto; reading out data from a memory (270) of the cleaning head; configuring the assembly for actuating the cleaning head according to a sequence of instructions; and actuating the motor according to the sequence of instructions to remove the soft tissue and clean the bone stock.
