Summary: | PURPOSE: A tuning fork type gyroscope having an internal sensing electrode is provided to minimize disturbance caused by external vibration by causing the vibration of a tuning fork mode, thereby obtaining an accurate angular velocity output by offsetting the external vibration. CONSTITUTION: An internal sensing electrode comprises an anchor unit(50), a driving unit(230), a mass unit, a fixing electrode unit, and a rotary vibration unit. The driving unit generates an electrostatic force by applied voltages. The mass unit comprises a fist mass(110) and a second mass(130). The first and second mass are connected to the anchor unit by a plurality of elastic members, thereby vibrating to directions opposite to each other by the electrostatic force generate in the driving unit. The fixing electrode unit is arranged in between the anchor unit and the rotary vibration unit and a plurality of comb-shaped fixing electrodes is formed at a predetermined interval. When the Coriolis' force caused by external rotating motion is applied to the vibrating mass units, the rotary vibration unit is rotated and vibrated by the Coriolis' force, thereby detecting capacitance changed by rotary vibration with the comb-shaped fixing electrodes. |
