Summary:PURPOSE: A solar cell having front and back surface fields and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to increase collection efficiency by controlling photoproduced carrier from moving to a surface. CONSTITUTION: A p type silicon substrate is provided(301). An emitter (n+) is included in an upper portion of the substrate. A floating junction layer (p+)(303) of a pattern structure is included while being deposited on the emitter (n+). A reflection prevention layer(304) is included in the floating junction layer (p+). A front electrode(305) is contacted with the emitter (n+). The floating junction layer (p+) is not contacted with the front electrode.
