Summary:PURPOSE: A solar cell with a localized emitter and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to maximize light conversion efficiency of a solar cell by safely transferring a little number of photo-produced carriers in a substrate to an electrode. CONSTITUTION: A first conductive substrate(10) is prepared. A dielectric layer(20) is formed on the surface of the substrate. A back electrode(15) is formed on a lower surface of the substrate. A heavily doped region having second conductive impurities is locally formed on an upper portion of the substrate. A secondary electrode layer(30) is deposited on the upper portion of the substrate. A front electrode(14) is formed on the upper portion electrode layer.
