Summary:PURPOSE: A solar cell and manufacturing method thereof are provided to maximize photoelectric conversion efficiency by secondly scattering and absorbing the firstly scattered light from a first transparent electrode through metal nano particles between the first transparent electrode and a light absorbing layer. CONSTITUTION: A first transparent electrode(120) is formed on a transparent substrate(110). Metal nano particles(130) are formed on the first transparent electrode. A light absorption layer(140) is formed on the metal particles and the first transparent electrode. A second transparent electrode(150) is formed on the light absorption layer. A metal layer(160) is formed on the second transparent electrode.
