PURPOSE: A device for testing the performance of a rock fall protection fence is provided to calculate exact rock fall energy because a weight directly falls to a rock fall protection fence and to reduce time and effort for preparing a performance test of a rock fall protection fence and for removing the rock fall protection fence. CONSTITUTION: A device for testing the performance of a rock fall protection fence comprises a foundation unit(100) and a weight drop unit. A rock fall protection fence, which is a measurement object, is installed by being laid on the foundation unit. The lower part of the rock fall protection fence is united on the foundation unit having a predetermined height. The weight drop unit drops a weight from the upper side of the rock fall protection fence installed in the upper part of the foundation unit toward the rock fall protection fence.
