Summary:PURPOSE: A foreign material removal device for a conveyor belt is provided to properly operate a conveyor belt by removing foreign materials stuck on the conveyor belt and to prevent environmental pollution due to the foreign materials. CONSTITUTION: A foreign material removal device for a conveyor belt(100) comprises a foreign material removal unit(200) and a driving unit(300). The foreign material removal unit removes foreign materials stuck on a conveyor belt(B). The driving unit is connected to the foreign material removal unit and the conveyor belt so that the foreign material removal unit can be iterated by the movement of the conveyor belt. The foreign material removal unit comprises a movable member(210) and a foreign material removal member(220). The movable member is connected to the driving unit to iterate to a lateral direction of the conveyor belt with the driving unit. The foreign material removal member is arranged in the movable member to remove the foreign materials stuck on the conveyor belt.
