Summary:PURPOSE: An environment-friendly material for pollutant decomposition and sterilization, and method for producing the same is provided to use photocatalytic component which is chemically stable and environment-friendly, thereby capable of obtaining useful effects like decomposition of pollutant, sterilization, etc by only irradiating sun light. CONSTITUTION: A manufacturing method of an environment-friendly material for pollutant decomposition and sterilization comprises: a step of mounting ion source material(13) which is solid material at room temperature to a sputtering source(12); a step of supplying gas near the ion source material; a step of applying voltage to the ion source material; a step of ionizing the supplied gas by electrons generated from ion source material; a step of injecting gas ion to the ion source material; a step of ionizing fundamental particles emitted from the ion source material; a step of inter-colliding from each other by supplying charged particles generated from a charged particles to the emitted fundamental particles; a step of giving specific directionality and speed to generated ions of plasma state; and a step of applying voltage through an ion accelerating electrode(31).
