Summary: | PURPOSE: Strawberry jam having the original shape of strawberries, and a producing method thereof are provided to preserve the strawberries in sugar for more than one week for maintaining the original shape of the strawberries. CONSTITUTION: A producing method of strawberry jam having the original shape of strawberries comprises the following steps: mixing the strawberries with 20-80% sugar having for the total weight of the strawberries for sugar-soaking at 0-15 deg C for more than a week; separating the sugar-soaked strawberries and strawberry liquid; heating the strawberry liquid after adding citric acid, sodium citrate, pectin, and xylitol, and inserting the sugar-soaked strawberries; and heating the mixture. |
