Summary: | PURPOSE: A titanium alloy casting mold and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to remove an interfacial reaction layer from a titanium casting to obtain a high quality titanium alloy casting. CONSTITUTION: A manufacturing method of a titanium alloy casting mold comprises the following steps: mixing 55-90wt% of TiO2 powder with 1-50wt% of tungsten powder using a colloidal silica bonging agent(S1); stirring the mixed powder for more than 12 hours(S2); and sintering the powder mixture at 850-1,200 deg. Celsius(S3). |
