Summary:PURPOSE: A memory system and an operating method thereof are provided to increase performance degradation phenomenon of a memory system and to implement high stability. CONSTITUTION: A TLB(ranslation Lookaside Buffer)(122) inputs a virtual address. The TLB searches for a TLB entry which is matched with the virtual address. A TIB(Translation Information Buffer)(132) is connected to the TLB. If the TLB entry which is matched with the virtual address does not exist, the TIB determines whether a physical address is a consecutive mapping region. If the physical address is in the consecutive mapping region, the TIB controls a management size of the TLB.
