Summary:PURPOSE: A spatial multiplexing signal transmission method and apparatus thereof are provided to increase effective channel capacity performance of a system by adaptively determining system variables according to operation environment. CONSTITUTION: A downlink channel capacity calculation unit(201) deducts maximum downlink channel capacity by determining system variables. An effective channel capacity calculation unit(203) calculates effective channel capacity by using the system variables transmitted by the downlink channel capacity calculation unit. A system variable determination unit(205) determines optimal system variables for maximizing the calculated channel capacity.
