Summary:PURPOSE: A CID(Calling Identification Display) content service providing method and system thereof are provided to increase the interesting of receivers by utilizing the waiting time of the receivers. CONSTITUTION: A calling terminal authorizes CID content for a receiver by using an authoring tool(S200). The calling terminal attempts to connect a call to a reception terminal(S206). When the reception terminal requests the CID content to a CID server(S210), the receiver agree to provide the CID content(S208). The CID server transmits the CID content to the reception terminal according to the request of the reception terminal(S212).
