Summary:PURPOSE: A device for sharing content and a method thereof are provided to effectively manage the distributed social content which is stored in a plurality of mobile devices, thereby implementing a reliable social media service. CONSTITUTION: A query managing unit(100) inputs a query corresponding to content search from a user terminal. A filtering engine unit(300) classifies the content which a plurality of terminals includes into the content for a social community and the content for a non-social community. A content managing unit(400) generates a sharing content list based on content information for the social community. A customized engine unit(200) generates a content list optimized for each user.
