Summary:PURPOSE: A charging gateway access method in a portable terminal and portable terminal thereof are provided to develop Wi-Fi content regardless of an IWLAN(Interworking Wireless Local Area Network) by enabling a user to access a charging gateway. CONSTITUTION: A first network access code is received from portable terminal content(S310,S320). The portable terminal confirms currently accessed second network information(S330). In case first network information is the same as the second network information, the portable terminal accesses a charging gateway of a first network by using the first network access code(S340,S370). In case the first network information is different from the second network information, the portable terminal accesses the charging gateway of the second network by using the second network access code(S350,S360).
