Summary:PURPOSE: A display device and a broadcasting receiving method are provided to reduce channel zapping time of a broadcasting signal through a network. CONSTITUTION: A controlling unit(50) displays channel information on a display unit(30) in a predetermined arrangement type by control of a signal processing unit(20). The controlling unit requests channel data to a server if a user selects the channel. The candidate channel is closed to the selected channel in two or more set directions. The controlling unit receives the channel data from the server.
