Summary:PURPOSE: A fault recovery method of a repeater using a remote control method is provided to process function faults of a main processor in a repeater by processing faults in a communication module. CONSTITUTION: In case a response message corresponding to a response request message of a first protocol method is not received from a repeater(202), a remote control system transmits a response request message of a second protocol method(204). The remote control system recovers faults of a communication module in the repeater by receiving the response message corresponding to the response request message of the second protocol method from the repeater(206). The remote control system checks functions of the repeater. In case the faults are generated, the remote control system recovers the faults(207).
