Summary:PURPOSE: A lid opener for a mineral water barrel is provided to easily cut a lid made by a soft material by fitting and pulling a guide plate between a mineral water barrel and the lid. CONSTITUTION: A lid opener for a mineral water barrel comprises a body(10), a support plate(20), a guide plate(30), and a cutting blade(40). The body is made by a synthetic resin material and is formed in a handle shape. The support plate is fixed in end of the body. The guide plate is fixed in the support plate in a state where keeping a distance from the body. An approached blade(31) is installed on the top of the guide plate to be approached in a gap between the mineral water barrel and a lid. In a state where the cutting blade is fixed in the front end of the support plate and the guide plate is approached to the gap between the mineral water barrel and the lid, the cutting blade cuts the lid by movement of the body.
