PURPOSE: An AC variable voltage output circuit and an instrument adopting the same are provided to control rotating speed of an electric fan by using a single wire. CONSTITUTION: One terminal(M1) of load(M) is connected to one terminal(L) of AC input side by a coil and fuse. The other terminal of the load is connected to the other terminal of the AC input side. An anode of a fifth diode(D5) is connected to a source terminal of a first FET(Field Effect Transistor). A cathode of the fifth diode is connected to a drain terminal of the first FET. An anode of a sixth diode is connected to a source terminal of a second FET. A cathode of the sixth diode is connected to a drain terminal of the second FET. Effective voltage added to the load is varied by controlling the ratio of on-time and off-time of the first FET and the second FET.
