Summary: | PURPOSE: A GGPS gene which promotes plant growth or biomass is provided to solve a food problem that food resource is reducing. CONSTITUTION: A method for promoting plant growth or biomass increasing comprises a step of transforming a recombinant vector containing GGPS(geranylgeranyl pyrophosphate synthase) gene to a plant cell and a step of overexpressing the GGPS gene. The plant growth or biomass increasing includes the increasing of plant growth rate, early flowering induction, seed yield, or the number of flowers. The GGPS gene has a base sequence of sequence number 1. |
