Summary: | PURPOSE: An alkali-free glass composition is provided to improve density and acid resistance as much as a-Si substrate product. CONSTITUTION: An alkali-free glass composition comprises the following compositions: 67 <= SiO2 <= 70, 11 <= Al2O3 <= 13.5, 3 <= B2O3 <= 6, 3.5 <= MgO <= 7, 4 <= CaO <= 7, 1 <= SrO <= 4, 0.5 <= BaO <= 3, 0.02 <= SnO2 <= 0.3, 0 <= CeO2 <= 0.3, 0.00 <= As2O3 <= 0.5, 0.00 <= Sb2O3 <= 0.5, 0.01 <= Fe2O3 <= 0.08, F+Cl+Br <= 0.4. All oxides satisfy below relations as mole %: 1.05 <=(MgO+BaO+CaO+SrO)/Al2O3 <= 1.25, 0.7 <=(CaO+SrO+BaO)/Al2O3 <= 0.9, 0.3 <= MgO/(CaO+SrO+BaO) <= 0.6. The Al2O3, MgO, CaO, SrO and BaO represent oxide components in mole %. The alkali-free glass additionally includes chemical pinning agent. |
