PURPOSE: A refrigerator is provided to improve heat transfer rate and store food for a long time by delivering cold air to a container, storing the food, directly and smoothly. CONSTITUTION: A refrigerator comprises a main body, a first storage room, a second storage room, a machine room, a first door, a second door(140), a hanger, a storage container, and a cover(214). The first storage room includes a first storage space that opens to the front. The second storage room includes a second storage space that opens to the front. The machine room is arranged behind the second storage room and includes a condenser and a compressor for supplying cold air to the first and second storage spaces. The first door selectively opens and closes the first storage space. The second door selectively opens and closes the second storage space by pulling in and out like a drawer. The hanger is coupled to the rear side of the second door. The storage container is supported in the upper part of the hanger. The cover is turnably coupled to the storage container to open and close the storage container.
