Summary: | PURPOSE: A signal detection apparatus in normalized Laplace distribution noise environment is provided to detect a digital signal from impulse noise environment based on normalized Laplace probability distribution. CONSTITUTION: A non-linear function unit(100) detects a reception signal by using a non-linear function. An accumulator(200) adds samples to the detected reception signal. A threshold value comparison unit(300) compares a threshold value defined by a wrong alarm probability with the output value of the accumulator. The threshold value comparison unit detects a suboptimal signal or an optimal signal through an LLR(Log-Likelihood Ratio) test. |
