Summary:PURPOSE: Electrode and plasma gun structure for using a circuit protection device are provided to eliminate arc flash by including an adjustable electrode assembly. CONSTITUTION: A plasma gun(500) discharges ablation plasma(532) according to a shaft. The plasma gun comprises a first part having a first volume, and a second part having a second volume. A circuit protection device comprises a plurality of electrodes and electrode holders. Each electrode is electrically connected to a conductive material of a circuit. The plurality of electrodes is arranged according to a plane which is perpendicular to the shaft. The plurality of electrodes is arranged according to the plane at regular intervals. The plurality of electrode holders supports the plurality of electrodes.
