CONSTITUTION: A method for purifying cephalosporin pivoxil hydrochloride comprises: a step of dissolving cephalosporin pivoxil hydrochloride of chemical formula 1 in a primary solvent of C1-C3 alcohol; a step of adding secondary solvent including dichloromethane, ethyl acetate, benzene, hexane, acetone, methylisobutyl ketone, or methyl ethyl ketone; and a step of additionally adding hydrochloric acid aqueous solution.
