Summary:PURPOSE: A filter pocket apparatus with an increased area for filter media is provided to reduce the pressure drop of a filter assembly and to expand the life expectancy of the filter assembly without the change of a space occupied by the filter assembly. CONSTITUTION: A filter pocket assembly includes a filter frame(80), a plurality of filter pocket(90), and a plurality of supporting members(110). Each filter pocket includes a pocket mouse and a pocket body(94). The pocket mount is attached to the filter frame. The pocket body is longitudinally expanded from the pocket mount and to the closed end part(96). The closed end part forms a tuck fold(98) forming a first sub-filter pocket and a second sub-filter pocket in the pocket mouse. The first sub-filter pocket and the second sub-filter pocket include sub-pocket mice around the pocket mouse. The supporting members are arranged around the tuck fold to support at least one of the filter pockets.
