Summary:PURPOSE: A manufacturing method of finely granulated blast furnace slag mixed cement using an air-jet mill is provided to give high strength and hydration properties to the granulated blast furnace slag mixed cement. CONSTITUTION: A manufacturing method of finely granulated blast furnace slag mixed cement using an air-jet mill comprises the following steps: pulverizing granulated blast furnace slag which has particle size of 2-5mm using an air jet mill which includes classifier; obtaining finely granulated blast furnace slag which has average particle size of 2-5micro meters or 16,000-10,000square centimeters/gram; mixing 30-50wt.% of the finely granulated blast furnace slag and 50-70wt.% of normal Portland cement(OPC). The air jet mill has 5-10 bar air pressure and a classification wheel having a 6500-11,000rpm rotation speed. 5-10wt.% of alkali activator and 2-20wt.% of fly ash or silica fume from a heat power plant are additionally used compared to the amount of the finely granulated blast furnace slag used.
