Summary: | PURPOSE: A manufacturing method of carbide lime for an alkali activator of a granulated blast furnace slag mixed cement is provided to protect natural resources and cut greenhouse gases by reducing cement raw material use. CONSTITUTION: A manufacturing method of carbide lime for an alkali activator of a granulated blast furnace slag mixed cement comprises the steps of heat-treating the carbide lime for 1-3 hours at 700-1000deg.C and rehydrating the heat-treated carbide lime. The rehydrating step includes steps of mixing and stirring the heat-treated carbide lime with water at a weight ratio of 1:6 to 3 at an initial temperature 20-30deg.C. The carbide lime is an industrial byproduct which is generated from an acetylene(C2H2) gas production process and the carbide lime has a particle size of 325mesh. |
