Summary:PURPOSE: A gasket stop is provided to prevent the excessive tightening of a bolt and the excessive compression of a gasket. CONSTITUTION: A gasket stop(100) comprises a main body(110), an opening(120), one or more pillars(150,160), and one or more holding devices(130,140). The main body has first and second surfaces(112,114). The opening is extended from the first surface to the second surface. The pillars are extended from the first surface at an acute angle. The holding devices comprise vertically positioned parts(132,142) and protruded parts(136,146). The protruded parts fix the gasket stop to slots of a member.
