Summary:PURPOSE: A display device is provided to properly adjusting luminance balance when white light is displayed by lowering the luminous efficiency of an organic EL device which emits the light of a red color as well as improving the luminous efficiency of the organic EL device. CONSTITUTION: A first organic electroluminescence device(11) emits a blue color. A second organic electroluminescence device emits a green color. A third organic electroluminescence device(13) emits a red color. Each organic electroluminescence diode has a first electrode, a light emitting layer, and a second electrode. Light from each organic electroluminescence device is emitted from a second electrode. A first optical control layer is formed on the second electrode of the third electroluminescence device.
