Summary:PURPOSE: A User Interface providing method and a display device of the same are provided to change a category of a displayed content list when flick touch operation in a first axis direction is detected, thereby easily changing a category of the content list. CONSTITUTION: A display unit(136) displays a content list of contents. When flick touch operation in a first axis direction is detected, a control unit(150) changes a category of the content list. When flick touch operation in a second axis direction is detected, the control unit updates a content list displayed in one page in a current category. When the flick touch operation in a first axis direction is detected in a state, in which a content type of the content list is selected and a content list of the content type is displayed, the control unit changes a category of storage media of the content list.
