Summary:PURPOSE: A battery is provided to have an electromagnetic shielding function, thereby not needing to form an earth by a metallic housing, and having lightweight and a compact structure. CONSTITUTION: A battery(1) comprises a resin-metal composite film(6) as an external material, which is formed by combining a resin film(8) and a metal film(7) as a laminated form. A margin region part(6a) is pushed out to the outer circumference of a battery element(2), thereby coating the battery element. The battery element is inserted in the external material by combining the margin region part by heat sealing. A conductive member(21) penetrates the combined region(10) by the heat sealing, and connected to earth.
