Summary:PURPOSE: A method for amplifying a signal and selecting load impedance is provided to enhance power efficiency by controlling a variable impedance matching circuit and adjusting the load impedance of a power amplifier. CONSTITUTION: A power amplifier(100) comprises a supply voltage terminal, an input port, and an output port. The power amplifier receives an input signal through the input port. A variable impedance matching circuit(300) comprises an input terminal and an output terminal. A voltage measuring system measures supply voltage. A controller(400) compares the supply voltage which is measured with threshold voltage. The controller controls a variable impedance matching circuit based on a comparing result of the supply voltage and the threshold voltage and adjusts load impedance of the power amplifier.
