Summary:PURPOSE: Dental shade mapping is provided to obtain spectrum reflection data from a multi-colored image of a tooth without the complexity of using a spectrophotometer. CONSTITUTION: A method for obtaining dental shade mapping comprises: a step of irradiating the light of the first, and the illumination of the second and the third wavelength band to a dental object; a step of capturing the image of the dental object in each illumination wavelength band; a step of obtaining image data value about pixel; a step of calculating a plurality of interpolated image data values; a step of obtaining spectrum dispersion data about a luminous body; and a step of reconstructing a color of the dental object.
