Summary:PURPOSE: A light emitting block is provided to enable easy recognization at night by filling a photo-luminescent material in a stone block with patterns. CONSTITUTION: A light emitting block(100) comprises a block body(10), a solar generating unit(20), a photo-luminescent material(40), a light transfer unit(30), and a cover member(50). A groove(12) is formed on the block body in a manner patterns or letters are engraved to a given depth. The solar generating unit is installed on one side of the groove of the block body. The photo-luminescent material is filled in the groove of the block body and absorbs light energy. The light transfer unit is installed on the groove of the block body. The light transfer unit receives electricity generated by the solar generating unit.
