Summary:PURPOSE: The electrode structure of a secondary battery and a method for manufacturing the same are provided to improve the adhesion strength of a current collector with respect to an electrode mixture. CONSTITUTION: The slurry-phase electrode mixture of an electrode material and a solvent is arranged on a current collector. A solvent is volatilized from the electrode mixture to form an electrode layer on the current collector. Solid electrode material slurry of a high solid content is applied on each surface of the current collector with a plurality of through holes. The through holes are cylindrical forms. The solid electrode material slurry is dried.
