PURPOSE: A proximity sensor and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to prevent the degradation of accuracy due to cross-talk. CONSTITUTION: A printed circuit board(12) includes a first reflecting cup and a second reflecting cup. The first reflecting cup and the second reflecting cup spread coating on the surface of first and second cavities. An electromagnetic wave transmitter(102) is installed in the first reflecting cup to be possible to operate. An electromagnetic wave receiver(104) is installed in the second reflecting cup to be possible to operate. Sealing agent(130) seals the electromagnetic wave transmitter and the electromagnetic wave receiver. An opaque layer comprises a first aperture which is arranged in the first reflecting cup and a second aperture which is arranged in the second reflecting cup. The opaque layer reduces an electromagnetic wave which is transmitted from the electromagnetic wave transmitter.
