Summary: | PURPOSE: A frequency divider is provided to use a CML dual edge trigger sampling circuit, thereby realizing an accurate and quick operation at a high frequency. CONSTITUTION: A frequency divider(1400) includes an emitter follower(1410) which generates an output signal by receiving an NRZ output signal. A signal outputted from the emitter follower is negatively fed-back. The negatively fed-back signal is inputted to a CML dual edge trigger sampling circuit(300) included in a D flip-flop. The emitter follower generates an output signal of the same phase as a corresponding NRZ output signal by receiving the NRZ output signal outputted from the D flip-flop. The emitter follower maintains a voltage gain without respect to a connected load. |
