Summary: | PURPOSE: An apparatus and a method for eliminating the byproducts of a hydroformylation reaction are provided to continuously eliminate catalytic ligand oxide from a catalyst solution in a bath mode and to eliminate triphenylphosphine oxide. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus for eliminating the byproducts of a hydroformylation reaction includes a jacket type container, a catalyst solution supplying line(11), a butyl aldehyde washing solution supplying line, a baffle(13), a temperature controller, a side mirror(14), a solid material discharging hole, a filter(15), a filtering medium inlet, and a catalyst solution collecting line. The butyl aldehyde washing solution supplying line supplies a butyl aldehyde washing solution to the catalyst solution inlet. The baffle adjusts the amount of the catalyst solution and the butyl aldehyde washing solution. The side mirror monitors the transference of the butyl aldehyde washing solution through the upper most part of the baffle. The temperature of the container is adjusted to form solid catalytic ligand oxide. The catalyst solution except for the catalytic ligand oxide is filtered by a filter. |
