PURPOSE: A wound core processing apparatus is provided to prevent the end of a thin metal strip from being unwound by dividing the end of the wound thin metal strip into multiple parts and arc-welding the divided parts. CONSTITUTION: A wound core processing apparatus(1) comprises a base frame(10), a sensor unit(30), a control unit(40), and a manufacturing unit(60). The sensor unit is installed on the base frame and controls the tension of a thin metal strip. The control unit is arranged on the base frame to be separated from the sensor unit and checks the speed of the supplied thin metal strip. The manufacturing unit is arranged on the base frame to be separated from the control unit and manufactures a finished product by winding the thin metal strip supplied through the sensor unit and the control unit.
