Summary:PURPOSE: A pixel circuit of voltage compensation type of an active matrix organic light emitting diode display device is provided to compensate a positive threshold voltage and a negative threshold voltage regardless of the polarity of a driving TFT. CONSTITUTION: In a pixel circuit of voltage compensation type of an active matrix organic light emitting diode display device, a driving transistor(Td) is serially connected with a organic light emitting diode(OLED). The driving transistor drives the light emitting device. A first program transistor(Tref) supplies the data voltage of the data line to a second node. A second program transistor(Tdata) supplies a reference voltage to the first node. The reference voltage is provided from the reference voltage supply line. A merge transistor(Tme) connects the first node to the second node. A storage capacitor(Cs) is connected between the third node and the second node. The storage capacitor stores the compensated threshold voltage of the driving transistor. First and the second reset transistors(Tres1,Tres2) initialize at least two nodes with the initial voltage of the voltage line.
