Summary: | PURPOSE: Process and apparatus for simulated moving bed separation are provided to obtain products with high yield by forming the flushing flow. CONSTITUTION: A process for separating feed materials(F) through the adsorption of a simulated moving bed in a simulated moving bed apparatus comprises an external bypass line(Li/i+1) which directly connects successive two plates along the total length of a column, wherein a upstream plate and a downstream plate are respectively expressed by Pi and Pi+1; and I is an even number or (exclusively prior to) odd number. The plates can be flushed. The bypass line comprises an automation unit for controlling the flushing flow rate at the bypass line. |
