Summary:PURPOSE: A motor and a pump comprising the motor are provided to reduce cogging torque and/or torque ripple by forming a non-magnetic unit on the outer circumferential surface of a rotor core to be internally sunken and by arranging a permanent magnet between non-magnetic units. CONSTITUTION: A motor comprises a stator(110) and a rotor(130). The rotor can rotate to the stator. The rotor comprises a rotor core(141), a permanent magnet, a non-magnetic unit(146) and a magnetic unit(147). The permanent magnet is inserted into the rotor core. The non-magnetic unit is internally sunken between neighboring permanent magnets from the outer circumferential surface of the rotor core. The magnetic unit is formed between the non-magnetic units. The magnetic unit has the same radius of curvature.
