Summary:PURPOSE: A method of driving display panel, a driving unit of a display panel for performing the method and display apparatus having the driving unit are provided to improve image quality by improving the response speed of liquid crystals. CONSTITUTION: In a method of driving display panel, a driving unit of a display panel for performing the method and display apparatus having the driving unit, a gate signal, a control signal including a data clock signal, and a gray signal are proved(S100). A gate signal is proved to a display panel based on a gate clock signal(S300). A n-th frame compensation signal is outputted by using a look up table corresponding to the each block of a display panel which are divided into a plurality of blocks according to the distance from a light source(S500). The n-th frame compensation signal is supplied to the display panel by converting a gradation voltage.
