Summary:PURPOSE: A wire rod for a saw wire and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to secure superior wire drawability by minimizing the number of hard inclusions containing 50% of Al2O3. CONSTITUTION: In a ladle furnace, a blow-end full catch is implemented without putting a carbon wire into molten steel, and a recarburizer is inserted into the molten steel in order to control the C content in the molten steel. In a ladle, a stopper, a nozzle, and a tundish, refractories containing Al 1weight% or less are used for the parts that contact the molten steel.
