WEAR RESISTANT STEEL
PURPOSE: Wear-resistant steel is provided to reduce the content of high-priced alloy components and carbon and secure a uniform martensite structure at a relatively low cooling speed. CONSTITUTION: Wear-resistant steel comprises carbon(C) 0.06-0.1wt%, manganese(Mn) 6.0-10.0wt%, silicon(Si) 0.05-1.0w...

Summary: | PURPOSE: Wear-resistant steel is provided to reduce the content of high-priced alloy components and carbon and secure a uniform martensite structure at a relatively low cooling speed. CONSTITUTION: Wear-resistant steel comprises carbon(C) 0.06-0.1wt%, manganese(Mn) 6.0-10.0wt%, silicon(Si) 0.05-1.0wt%, niobium(Nb) 0.1wt% or less, titanium(Ti) 0.05wt% or less, boron(B) 0.01wt% or less, and iron(Fe) and other inevitable impurities of the remaining amount. The wear-resistant steel has a micro-structure including martensite 90% or greater and a Brinell hardness of 300 or greater. |
